The 2 nautical mile (NM) LED 360 degree Red (2NM360R) is certified USCG / ABYC A-16 & 72 COLREGS. This light is used for power, sailboats and commercial vessels up to 50 meters (164 feet). Life of the LEDs is 50,000 hours. By using the latest high brightness (HB) LED with constant current drivers, and good thermal management, assures the life of the LED. The light provides constant brightness over the full operating range of 10 to 30 volts DC. This insures the light will meet or exceed the visibility requirements as the battery voltage drops from use. Active Linear Tech integrated circuit (IC) is used to prevent radio frequency (RF) interference. The driver printed circuitry board (PCB) is potted to protect the circuitry. This light also features a diode for reverse polarity protection, and a 1500 watt TVS diode for surge protection. The light is constructed with black hard coat anodized aluminum heat sink and LED holder, with clear polycarbonate top and lens. For mounting, there are three options. For direct mounting, use the 1/4 inch x 20 female threads on the bottom of the light. Included with the light is a stainless steel 360 degree bracket (BRKT360) which is keyed to assure proper orientation with the vessels centerline when mounting. Also available to use with this light are 1 inch or .75 inch pole mounts (PADPT1, PADPT75). The light comes with 3 feet of 2 conductor 20 AWG UV jacketed wire.
