Valmar Inboard Engines Valmar inboard engines are GM Vortec engines in a classic configuration for older boats. Engines for these boats were elegant in their simplicity. There were no digital controls, no fuel-injection, and no complicated systems on the engines. When it comes time to repower classic boats it shouldn't take more effort than it did when the boat was built. Valmar engines make perfect sense for these older vessels. Engines are available with reverse rotation, have a compression ratio of 9.41, include a Holley Marine Carburetor and are available with up to a 2-year limited warranty.
