It is known as Blufin System. Highest level of performance is obtained when the trim tabs guides water flow. No drag is encountered during lateral holding power which is supplied by grooves. The trim tabs could be set to any desired degrees from 0 to 20 by a single touch. This adds to the beauty and the increases the performance of present boats.
Trim tabs can be compared to riding a bicycle. Trimming for better speed is known by knot meter irrespective of the throttle setting. Depending upon the sea conditions, the trim is adjusted.
