AUTOMATIC ENGINE SHUTDOWN SYSTEM Required for diesel engines. Compressed gas suppressants will not stall a diesel engine. If fire breaks out aboard a diesel powered vessel, the engine must be shut down immediately. Continued operation may remove the agent creating the possibility of re-ignition. FIREBOY engine shutdown systems respond automatically when a FIREBOY system discharges. Includes a display unit with an integrated alarm horn, charged/discharged lights and an override switch for restart or control of auto-shutdown. Each system includes two individual relays for propulsion engines for redundancy. 12 VDC.
