Naval brass. Water lubricated. Adapt equally well to strut and stern-tube mounts. Used effectively as rudder-stock and pintle bushings. Precision fitted to shaft size with correct clearance for lubrication. External brass shells are machined and polished to provide easy fitting. Specially formulated oil and chemical resistant nitrile rubber securely bonded to shell. Usually installed by light press-fitting and locked in place with cone-pointed set screws. Meet military specification MIL-B-17901A (ships), class II, full-molded type.
